31 Day Challenge, Day 1: Red

Good morning & happy Monday! I am doing the infamous 31 day nail polish challenge, but instead of doing it daily, the group of ladies I'm doing it with is doing it every 3 days. If you'd like to join, feel free to! Kimber from Kimer's Lacquer Korner organized it, so contact her if you wanna join! :)

Day one's theme is red! I did a half n' half to add some flare :) I used Sally Hansen Red Carpet and Essie Forever Yummy!

I started off with 2 coats of Red Carpet, a red polish with red micro-glitter. I then taped half the nail off and painted on 1 coat of Forever Yummy, a classic red creme. I really like the effect this had! It isn't very noticeable in the shade/indoors, but in the sun you can see the different between the creme and the glitter! The application of both was good, I had no issues :). I may try this mani again, but with a more dramatic difference between the two polishes.

I hope you guys enjoyed! & I can't wait for the rest of the challenge!
Until next time,
-Shelby
