Spoiled Cougar Attack

Good evening! Yesterday I did a fall-esque manicure and wanted to share it with you guys!

I saw some swatches online of Spoiled Cougar Attack and felt that I needed it in my collection. It's a perfect polish for fall :)

Below I used 2 coats of Cougar Attack

Cougar Attack contains copper fine glitter in a brown base. This polish is gorgeous! In 2 coats, it was perfect opaque. In the sun, Cougar Attack looks like a warm brown overall, but in the shade and indoors, the contrast really stands out. Definitely getting my money's worth for $1.99!

Essie Stylenomics Collection Swatches

Good evening! Essie recently came out with their fall line: Stylenomics. I thought some of the colors were nice, but they looked like colors I owned or have seen before, so instead of buying full-sized bottles, I bought a cube of 4 minis. The set included Don't Sweater It, Stylenomics, Head Mistress and Skirting the Issue!

Below I did 2 coats of each color. I apologize for the last 2 photos; my light box wasn't cooperating!

Essie Don't Sweater It
Essie Don't Sweater It
Don't Sweater It is a light brown creme with a tinge of gray in it. I didn't really like the formula of this, unfortunately. I figured it'd be the best, considering the other 3 are darker shades, but I was wrong! I like this color, but I feel like its been done a million times and the formula turned me off a bit. I probably will use it, though.

Essie Stylenomics
Essie Stylenomics
Stylenomics, the namesake of the collection, is a dark green/teal, almost black creme. The formula on this was pretty good! A little thick, but manageable :). I don't really wear black polish, so I'm not sure how often I'll wear this, but I like it nonetheless!

Essie Head Mistress
Essie Head Mistress

Head Mistress is a sheer, red creme. I was least excited about this shade, but it is my favorite out of the 4! The formula was thin, but still great for a red! I will definitely be wearing this during the fall :) This reminds me of last year's Size Matters, also by Essie!

Essie Skirting the issue
Essie Skirting the Issue

Skirting the Issue is a sheer, wine creme. This was my second favorite of the bunch! The formula was also thin like the last polish, but very workable!

China Glaze Harvest Moon & Foie Gras

Good evening! Today I got the chance to finally watch Hunger Games (I know, I know. I'm late jumpin' on the band wagon!). I thought it was a great movie- better than I expected! So I figured I'd pull out my 2 polishes from the China Glaze collection: Harvest Moon & Foie Gras.

Below I did 2 coats of each color, without a base or top coat!

Harvest Moon is a coppery orange shimmer! This leaned very orange on me, but in the sunlight, I really like it! It applied well; two coats made it perfectly opaque! I got it on sale at Sally's a while back and am glad I picked it up. It'll be good for the fall :)

Foie Gras is a cool dark brown with a tinge on purple. I thought this wouldn't be very flattering on me, but I kinda like it! I picked it up in a lot on eBay so I also got this one for a discounted price! The formula on this was great! It was practically opaque in 1 coat, but I did two for the heck of it! This name makes me laugh since I think it means goose liver, haha!

What do you think of these two shades? Did you like this collection?

Nails Inc. Colour Collection Neutral Swatches

Hello again! Today I wanted to swatch some Nails Inc. polishes I got in a set from Sephora. These are my first Nails Inc. polishes and I was very excited to try them out!

The set includes 4 colors for $25 (great deal compared to the sticker price of $10 per bottle normally). They are:
-Porchester Square
-The Thames
-Jermyn Street
-Elizabeth Street

Below I did 2 coats for each color except Elizabeth Street, which I did 3.

Nails Inc. Porchester Square
Porchester Square is a gorgeous, greige creme! This is my favorite of the collection! I originally sought after this color and ended up with the collection instead. This applied really well, without streaks. It was fully opaque in 2 coats and dried fairly quickly. I think this is a great fall shade and a variation to the traditional nude. I like this more than Essie Yogaga, which is another shade similar to this. The second photo is in direct light.

The Thames is a blue-toned dark gray creme. I also really like this color! It applied just like Porchester Square, so I was pleased with it overall :). I also think this will be great for fall!

Nails Inc Jermyn Street

Nails Inc. Jermyn Street
Jermyn Street is a brown creme with a touch of purple/pink. In the bottle, Jermyn Street looks more mauve than brown, but on the nails it translates brown. I don't think I will use this as much as the first two, but I still like it. It has the same formula as the first two, so that'll persuade me to use it more!

Nails Inc Elizabeth Street

Nails Inc. Elizabeth Street
Elizabeth Street is a sheer baby pink creme. I've seen a lot of pinks like this, but it's still nice. I did 3 coats in an attempt to make it opaque. As you can see, my nail is still a little visible after 3! I think this would be good for work or the springtime!

Overall, I think Sephora came out with a good pack of Nails Inc. polishes. It allowed me to get more than one or two without dolling out the cash for four at full price. My favorites are Porchester Square and The Thames! I think I'll use them a lot this fall :). I'm very impressed with the quality of Nails Inc. and I'll consider buying from them again!

What do you think? Do you have any Nails Inc. polishes?
