Below I did 2 coats of each color. I shot these photos outside to capture the sparkle from the shimmers. Also, forgive the condition of my nails, they are in need of TLC!
OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest |
OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest |
Every Month is Oktoberfest is a pretty purple/burgundy shimmer. In the sun, you can truly see the burgundy undertones, but in the shade, it looks like a blackish red with slight shimmer. The formula on this was okay, it was fully opaque in 2 coats!. I sometimes have a hard time with the wide OPI brush and dark colors, but I made it work. I think this is a nice alternative to black or gray in the fall!

OPI German-icure by OPI |
German-icure by OPI is a a vampy, dark red shimmer. This is a beauty in the sunlight as well! I like this much better on the nail, rather than in the bottle. In the bottle, German-icure by OPI has almost a bronze undertone. I think this will be great in the Autumn months! The formula was the same as Every Month is Oktoberfest!
OPI Unfor-greta-bly Blue |
OPI Unfor-greta-bly Blue |
Unfor-greta-bly Blue is a metallic blue with slight shimmers running through it. This polish had a similar formula to the previous two, taking only 2 coats for fully opacity. I think this will be a good transition color, since it is vibrant like a summer shade and darker like a fall shade. I also think the name is adorable! I like how OPI has such punny names :)
OPI Berlin There Done That |
OPI Berlin There Done That |
Last but not least, Berlin There Done That is a nice taupe creme. I like the formula of this polish the best! It went on great and was practically opaque in 1 coat! It isn't the most original color, but I don't mind. The name practically sold me on the polish! It looks like a darker version of Nails Inc. Porchester Square.
Overall, I like this collection. I think OPI stepped up their game with color choices. Even though I didn't get any of the other shades from the collection, I think they are gorgeous and eye-catching! I've seen some complaints about the over-the-top names; I like names that are a play on words, it keeps things interesting!
I hope you guys enjoyed!

I'm a bit over the names myself. They try to make every single polish a pun - it's ok to have a few normal names in a collection people!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the first two, cannot wait to get my hands on them!
I see where you're coming from, I think Nein Nein Nein Okay Fine is a bit much :P
DeleteI'm really looking forward to getting German-icure--it's such a gorgeous colour!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy a good, groan-inducing pun, so the names usually don't bother me. But some of the ones OPI busts out...like "Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok, Fine!"? What is that, I don't even... >_<
Haha yeah I understand what you mean. I like punny names that are on the cute side :). German-icure is gorgeous, definitely a must from this collection!
DeleteVery nice swatches. I like Germanicure one.. Very interesting!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I like that one a lot :) it's a nice vampy red!
DeleteFantastic swatches!! I NEED Oktoberfest! I love the color but also because we go to the Oktoberfest in our town every year and have our dogs do the weiner dog races. It's so fun!
ReplyDeleteThat's always cool when a nail polish name has a special meaning to you! I've never been to Oktoberfest, but I've heard it can be really fun :)
DeleteGreat swatches! I've been too lazy to go to my beauty supply store to get the new Germany polishes. Maybe this weekend I'll pick up Germanicure!
ReplyDeleteI think if you should get any, it should be that one! It looks gorgeous in the sun :) but not as great at all indoors :/
DeleteThank you for sharring
