Shine of the Times is an opalescent flakie. This is absolutely stunning to look at! It flashes green, yellow, orange and red all at the same angle. Wow, I can't get over how cool that is. The application was a little thick, but I didn't mind :). Unfortunately, I didn't have much fun with the base color of this combo, Cinna-Snap, a burgundy jelly-like creme. Cinna-Snap was a pain to apply and I didn't particularly like the formula. The brush had a hard time getting the polish down to the cuticle and too much polish collected on the stem of the brush. I'm not sure how much I'll use this polish...maybe I'll add some thinner and see what I can do! Overall, though, I like the look of this combo!
I hope you guys enjoyed!

ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm so excited to use it
DeleteYou are absolutely right. This is very similar to the Nubar. Great swatches :)
ReplyDeleteI thought your swatches were Essie at a first glance :P
DeleteGreat combination of polishes, looks perfect for the fall!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I like the orange/red tones! Thank you :)
DeleteShine of the Times is one of my favourites, I'm glad you were able to get a bottle even though Essie is discontinuing it! This combination is so cool, it does look like fall on your nails with the red and orange.
ReplyDeleteme too! I'm so glad I have it right before fall :) I also think it'll look pretty over pastels in the spring!
DeleteSo gorgeous! It looks amazing over the red base color-- I need to get this and try it myself!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Snatch it up on eBay :)
